ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Inventory Control and Purchasing Specialist in North York, Ontario. Join us to enhance inventory management and purchasing strategies.
In this crucial role, you will oversee inventory levels, process purchase orders, and conduct monthly reporting. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and working closely with suppliers. Prior experience in inventory coordination and strong analytical skills will set you up for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute purchase orders and manage supplier communication
• Monitor inventory deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct stock adjustments and support monthly reporting
• Utilize inventory applications to achieve fill rate targets
• Develop plans to manage underperforming inventory
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or logistics
• 4-5 years of related experience in inventory control
• Experience with inventory management ERP systems
• Strong quantitative skills for effective reporting
• Knowledge of the importing process into Canada
