Position: Internship in Merchandising with Metro
Join Metro's Food Basics team as a Merchandising Intern in Ontario. This full-time internship combines research, data analysis, and collaborative project work until September 4, 2026.

The Intern in Merchandising will support the category manager and team through various analytic responsibilities.

Your role will center on leveraging data from the Dunnhumby loyalty platform and sales metrics to drive sales improvements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while developing your analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analyses for pricing and promotions

• Collaborate on special projects with team members

• Extract data for meaningful insights

• Prepare ROI evaluations of merchandising strategies

• Assist in daily departmental tasks

Requirements:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or finance

• Proven technical skills and experience preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Excellent time management and communication abilities

• Strong independent working skills
