Responsibilities- Take ownership of a high-visibility portfolio, shaping its evolution and pioneering new channels to reach SMB clients.
- Accelerate customer acquisition and elevate brand awareness through high-impact, strategic partnerships with organizations that hold a dedicated SMB audience.
- Architect how TELUS partners with organizations that already serve small‑business owners, multiplying our reach and delivering real value to entrepreneurs.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, building, scaling, and managing partner relationships as a true business owner.
- Have end‑to‑end accountability for partnership strategy and program KPIs, influencing marketing, pricing, business development, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Navigate complex internal and external stakeholder networks to drive meaningful business growth.
- Lead business development, manage high‑value relationships, and uncover novel ways to acquire customers through partner networks.
- Develop data‑driven marketing strategies for each partner, negotiate terms, execute tactics, measure ROI, and optimize customer acquisition.
- Serve as the strategic voice of the portfolio, presenting to and securing alignment from senior executives and cross‑functional leaders.
- Work closely with Campaigns, Sales, and Pricing teams to operationalize strategy and ensure flawless execution of partnership launches.
- Make decisions grounded in customer insights and performance analytics, regularly analyzing campaign effectiveness, identifying optimization opportunities, and course‑correcting based on real data to maximize partnership ROI.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in partnership management, channel marketing, business development, or strategic marketing—proven success managing complex multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
- Portfolio & program management experience managing 3+ concurrent initiatives or partnerships while maintaining strategic focus.
- Exceptional executive presence: strong communication skills, command of room, influence senior leadership forums, and high‑stakes negotiation ability.
- High autonomy & drive: self‑starter thriving in ambiguity, requiring minimal supervision, translating high‑level strategy into flawless execution.
- Stakeholder mastery: outstanding interpersonal skills, immediate credibility, effective collaboration across diverse internal and external teams.
- Agility & prioritization: organized with ability to "zoom in and out"—balancing big‑picture strategy with meticulous attention to project timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Advanced professional proficiency in English (national scope).
- Professional proficiency in French.
- Industry experience in telecommunications or technology, or 2+ years translating marketing strategy across different sectors.
- Proven marketing leaders passionate about excellence, delivering exceptional results, eager to learn our industry.
