Where we work
Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Why we’re looking for you looking to hire an accomplished Sales Manager to join our growing revenue team. This role is best suited for people who are passionate about helping small businesses grow, have a track record of sales excellence and are committed to building trusting relationships with restaurant owners.

We have a strong preference for leaders based in Toronto who are excited to work closely with the team in our Toronto Sales Office. This role is expected to be in office 3x days per week on our core anchor days:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Being onsite is an important part of how we collaborate, coach, and build strong team culture.

  • Build and lead a world-class team of account executives
  • Lead from the front by co-selling with your reps (we don’t hide behind Gong)
  • Coach and develop your team based on their unique strengths
  • Inspire your team to be great for themselves and for our customers
  • Identify opportunities in the business and execute projects to improve our sales system
  • Partner and collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Become an expert in our product and the industry so that you can coach your team to advise restaurant owners in a high-trust manner
  • Level up consistently by reading, listening to podcasts, and learning from your teammates and peer

  • Minimum requirements

  • 5+ of direct first-line management experience (SMB preferred)
  • Strong followership and references - your reps will sing your praises when asked
  • History of personal and professional excellence. Customer-first sales approach
  • Life-long learner mindset
  • You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with restaurants (selling to or working in!) is a huge plus

  • The compensation range for this role is $200,K OTE ($100-130K base) plus a generous equity pre-IPO equity package.
