10 is currently seeking an Associate, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Management for a hybrid position located in Toronto, Canada. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Please note, this role requires working onsite 5 days a week for the initial 4 weeks, after which it will follow a hybrid model of 3 days per week onsite.

Summary:

The Associate, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Management plays a critical role in executing the branch's Business Continuity and Operational Resilience program at the business level. As a member of the First Line of Defense (1

LOD), the Associate ensures that business units comply with regulatory requirements, policies and frameworks, as well as industry best practices to enhance the branch's ability to prevent, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience frameworks in alignment with divisional programs and industry best practices.

Ensure adherence to local and enterprise level governance structures, including reporting, policies, standards, and procedures for business continuity and resilience.

Ensure integration of resilience principles within the organization's broader management framework.

Build and foster relationships with all local stakeholders as well as relevant cross-border stakeholders within Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, and Operational Risk Management.

Facilitate relevant training sessions as part of the annual training programs as well as ad-hoc training sessions as required.

Provide senior and executive leadership with regular reports on resilience capabilities, testing outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Contribute to the enhancement of business impact analyses (BIA) process to identify critical business functions and assess important business services.

Implement and maintain business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs) for all key operations.

Implement and maintain operational resilience process maps and tolerance disruption measurements for all identified important businesses.

Conduct scenario testing, including severe but plausible disruption scenarios, to validate operational resilience strategies.

Work closely with technology teams to ensure IT resilience, cyber incident response, and data recovery capabilities align with business needs.

Establish and oversee crisis management and incident response protocols to ensure timely and effective response to disruptions.

Collaborate with key business leaders to ensure resilience measures are embedded within day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

Knowledge in Business Continuity and Operational Resilience, and Risk Management.

Able to work under pressure and multi-task in an organized way with limited supervision.

Desired skills:

Experience in writing risk papers, policies, and desktop manuals.

Pay Range: $60.00 - $66.00 CAD depending on experience
