Amazon Canada Retail team is seeking a self‑driven Vendor Manager candidate. Vendor managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection and convenience for customers across their business. They play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for their category.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

The Vendor Manager will use customer obsession and analytics to inform creative solutions to drive business. The role engages with multiple internal teams to optimize product line performance for key manufacturers (vendors) on and collaborates with cross‑functional partners such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive performance for vendor partners.
This position offers an opportunity to execute analytical deep dives that inform category growth strategies and initiatives, while gaining vendor management experience and exposure to driving category growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead key categories and brand relationships for and drive business growth.
- Build strong vendor and brand relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage selection and catalog.
- Optimize inventory, generate forecasts, launch products, set pricing, and conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities for growth for vendors and
- Work cross‑functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to raise the bar on customer experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- 3+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
