This three-month contract role, with potential to extend to nine months, offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and seasoned procurement professionals.
Your role involves ensuring that procurement activities are executed efficiently and comply with organizational policies. You'll gain invaluable insights into public sector procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic procurement guidance to stakeholders
• Ensure purchase orders and documentation are accurate
• Review documents for compliance with procurement standards
• Obtain required approvals according to financial guidelines
• Support procurement administration and process improvements
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years supporting procurement functions
• Familiarity with public sector compliance requirements
• Attention to detail in documentation management
• Organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems
