We have a current opening for a Key Account Analyst and are actively reviewing applications.
We are looking for a Key Account Analyst to join our growing team! In this role, this individual will collect, analyze and produce sales and finance reports and provide further analysis and insights to assist in the strategic management and development of the Sales department, utilizing data from specific sources (i.e. Ferrero Business Systems, Customer Business Systems, and Nielsen). He or she will provide administration support to customer team and Director on deductions, volume & budget tracking, and related sales data & reporting requirements, utilizing data from the following forecasting and trade sources.
Responsibilities also include preparing detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations that highlight key insights and trends. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Provides full support to the assigned customer team, and interacts as needed with the customer along with trade marketing, sales, customer service and management.

- Sales analysis:
Collect data and report/analyze sales metrics including shipments, POS sales, inventory, market performance, distribution through retailer POS systems, Nielsen, and other data sources. - Develop insights and make recommendations for POG improvements including placement and distribution.
- Follow through on distribution gains/losses with baseline forecasting trends.
- Complete post‑analysis and make recommendations for improvements to assortment, retail, promotion, listings and store‑level merchandising execution.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and ongoing reporting of account’s strategic plan.
- Continuously review business focusing on improvement via correction of errors reports and make recommendations to improve sales and store‑level execution for all managed businesses.
- P&L, opportunity, risk & liability analyses.
- Provide analytical support for key field team projects.
- Develop insights and fact‑based tools using Ferrero Field Software and Business Systems.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Key account strategic plan.
- Propose forecast of commercial and assigned structure costs.
- Assist in development of yearly business plans & monthly forecast updates.
- Assist in forecast estimates for new products and adjustments on existing items.
- Develop and update monthly scorecard reports by Customer.
- Develop recommendations for store‑level orders for seasonal or event programs.
- Make recommendations to maximize inventory sell‑through by adjusting store‑level inventory or redeploying field resources.
- Develop and maintain a weekly store‑level inventory report and make recommendations for inventory adjustments to individual stores to maximize sales and product freshness.
- Assist in seasonal forecasting and execution through management of pre‑season forecasting and in‑season shipment tracking.
- Support Ferrero supply chain team in mitigating and minimizing customer supply fines.
- Produce, manage and present volume and performance reports.
- Evolve volume and trade reporting and tracking capabilities for indirect group of accounts.
- Analytical leadership on strategic channel projects and business initiatives.
- Develop channel‑specific sales tools for account teams and field operations team.
- Support development of business planning enhancements.
- Provide administration support to team on deductions, volume & budget tracking, and related sales data & reporting requirements.
- Participate in development and coordination of key impulse events (conferences, trade shows).
- Provide support to prepare for weekly and monthly team meetings.
- Support the team with building customer presentation decks.
- Support annual/ semi‑annual field sales meetings.
- BA in Business, Finance or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- CPG and retail experience – strong asset.
