Reporting
to the Senior Analyst, the Business Analyst Co-op Student will assist in performing audits on process compliance within the various operations of the Utilities business unit.
Location:Etobicoke, Head Office Duration: 12 - 16 months
What You'll Do Here:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document current business processesObserve and report deviations from standard operating proceduresDetermine root causes for deviations and perform impact analysesPresent safety and utilization metrics on weekly equipment calls to operations teamsCreate process documentation, including flowcharts and standard operating proceduresIdentify improvement opportunities; develop and present recommendations to management and monitor their implementationDetermine what processes are being followed and if purported benefits have been realizedWork with management to develop solutions and provide value-added services for Utilities’ dynamic operational environmentWhat You Bring to the Team:Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as individuallyStrong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-taskAbility to adhere to project schedules and meet deadlinesMicrosoft Office proficient – with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skillsExperience working with SAP is preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the confidence and ability to work with all levels of staff and management within a large organizationExperience in the utilities industry an assetMethodical and thorough approach to diagnosing problemsReason for vacancy:

The expected pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
