Drive operational excellence at the University of Toronto as a Facility Management Coordinator. This role focuses on enhancing operational support for the Faculty and ensuring safety standards.
As part of the Faculty Operations team, you will be responsible for space utilization reports, health and safety inspections, and maintaining effective operational arrangements within the Faculty’s facilities. Your interactions with various stakeholders will help resolve operational issues, supporting a vibrant academic environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations of space usage post-events
• Maintain information on a dedicated website
• Serve as Secretary to the Joint Health & Safety Committee
• Reconcile monthly Facility billings with Units
• Provide coverage during absences in the faculty team
Requirements:
• 3+ years of event or facilities support experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and diversity
• Proactive customer service orientation
