Position: Business Analyst for Investment Systems
Become a key contributor at OMERS as a Business Analyst focused on investment systems. Utilize your analytical skills to enhance trade processing and settlement operations while working in a hybrid environment.

This role is integral to the Portfolio Servicing Platform team, supporting daily operations that ensure efficient trade processing. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and finance teams, driving improvements in system enhancements and processes. Your expertise in business analysis will guide projects from scope definition to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Agile and Waterfall project initiatives

• Manage backlog and prioritization with the Platform Owner

• Lead comprehensive business analysis and documentation

• Design reporting dashboards using SQL and Power BI

• Analyze issues and recommend effective solutions

Requirements:

• 1–3 years experience in business analysis

• Proficient in SQL and Excel for data analysis

• Familiar with Agile tools like Azure Dev Ops and Power BI

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Understanding of investment lifecycle processes
