Position Overview

Richardson Wealth is on a transformation journey and wants to develop and implement an industry‑changing digital strategy that will enable the firm to deliver an unmatched, seamless digital experience for clients and advisors and find new ways to serve clients, integrate digital touchpoints and channels to improve operational efficiencies and attract the next generation of client, advisor and employee with flexible options for engagement.

As Senior Journey Analyst, you will support the Journey owners with market and user research, journey optimization (experience redesign), journey orchestration and agile delivery and execution.

About You

Strategy / Value Focus – Partners with the journey owners and key stakeholders to articulate journey vision; documents problem / opportunity and broader context; defines the desired future states using outcomes as measures of success and with a strong focus on experience and value delivery.

Business Needs Discovery, Visualization, and Validation – Collaborates with journey owners and other stakeholders to identify business needs; captures / presents business needs as journey maps and visualized requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement / Communication – Identifies stakeholders and ensures they are actively providing necessary inputs to teams.

Knowledge Centre for the Team – Acts as the team’s central point for business / experience knowledge and ensures UX Designers, Process Engineers, Product Owners and other team members have necessary information and knowledge to complete their activities.

Collaboration Facilitator – Engages the right set of staff within the team based on desired goals to facilitate collaborative working sessions.

Proactive Issue Identification – Self‑organizes around risks / issues / blockers; raises them as soon as they are identified or appear.

Continuous Improvement Support – Practices continuous improvement and is on the constant lookout for opportunities; provides and adapts to continuous feedback positively.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work in collaboration with the journey owner and the product owner to translate business concepts into easy‑to‑understand technical language.
  • Support the journey owner in defining and documenting the optimized journeys.
  • Work in collaboration with the journey owner to organise and facilitate program increment planning (PI planning).
  • Help the Journey Owner define and own the value definition of the Epics and acceptance criteria of the stories.
  • Collaborate with the IT delivery team to provide a delivery estimate for user stories to gain a team commitment.
  • Work ahead of the delivery team to define optimized journeys for next iterations of epics and features.
  • Help in acceptance criteria creation in a format that supports Acceptance Test Driven Development.
  • Provide discipline, rigor, and business context to the requirements definition and validation process.
  • Be an effective negotiator who can clarify needs vs. wants/likes to balance direction/requirements with cost of development.
  • Be an effective facilitator for delivery team to deliver incremental units of business value.
  • Decompose and describe business needs as epics and features while enabling incremental delivery.
  • Visualize business needs / requirements as epics, features and stories.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to complete required artifacts.
Qualifications
  • 5 years experience as journey analyst or business analyst in a business context.
  • Understanding of the Wealth Management industry and regulatory environment.
  • A passion for client and advisor experience, with concrete achievements.
  • Excellent capacity to understand and analyze client and advisor needs, with an overall view of related processes.
  • Strong coordination skills across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Able to work in complex environments and in the context of transformation, with multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to influence and mobilize.
Education
  • Degree in Business or Marketing.
Compensation and Benefits

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $94,500-$105,000.
