Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is seeking an experienced Project Manager V to lead a high-profile Synthetic Prime Expansion initiative supporting the launch of an established business into Asian markets, beginning with Singapore.

This is a unique opportunity to join a small, highly visible team driving a strategic business expansion within Global Markets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across Front Office, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Regulatory, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver a complex business implementation.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for the Synthetic Prime business expansion initiative.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Drive project governance, reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate discussions across business, operations, technology, compliance, risk, and control functions.
• Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issue resolution.
• Coordinate project resources, budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise project management methodologies and governance standards.
• Lead change management activities and support successful business adoption.
• Manage project documentation, status reporting, and executive presentations.
• Monitor project health and ensure delivery against scope, budget, and timeline commitments.

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within Financial Services.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including interactions with senior executives and business leaders.
• Experience with in Global Markets, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Trading environments

• Strong understanding of Equities products and trading concepts
  .
• Proven track record delivering complex cross-functional business initiatives.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholder groups and business functions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Exposure to Synthetic Prime
  , Prime Brokerage, Equity Swaps, Total Return Swaps, or related products.
• Experience supporting new product launches, business rollouts, or market expansions
  .
• Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle, operations workflows, and trading processes.
• Familiarity with project financial management, governance, and executive reporting.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and defining structure where processes may not yet exist.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to ask the right questions, gather information, and drive progress independently.
• Skilled at building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

They are confident engaging senior stakeholders, coordinating multiple teams, and driving strategic initiatives from planning through execution.

Experience supporting new business launches, market expansions, or product implementations within Equities, Prime Brokerage, or related trading businesses will be highly valued.
