IMAX Enhanced enables sponsors, content owners, and distributors to offer IMAX Enhanced streaming into the home as well as in live streaming events (watch parties) in iconic IMAX cinemas across the world.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Business Operations Specialist to supercharge the commercial growth and operational execution of the IMAX Enhanced business. This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical and proactive operator in entertainment tech who enjoys working across sales, marketing, and product in an entrepreneurial environment.
Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Strategy and Operations, you will help drive business planning, commercial operations, and partner execution across IMAX Enhanced’s live, on‑demand, and device segments.
What You’ll DoMaintain a real‑time view of IMAX Enhanced sales pipelines, prospecting activities, and revenue forecasts to improve reporting visibility and support business decision‑making.
Manage deal execution end‑to‑end, including processing contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, renewals across streaming, broadcast, rights holder, and OEM device clients.
Drive SG&A budgeting and expense tracking processes to support quarterly P&L planning, financial reporting and identify business opportunities.
Partner with Marketing to drive planning and coordination for major industry moments such as CES, NAB, client demos, and other external events and conferences.
Help prepare sales proposals, ROI modeling and presentations to support client engagement and commercial discussions.
Identify new processes to streamline workflows and scale operations using AI tools and automation.
Support high‑priority strategic initiatives and special projects across IMAX Enhanced as well as IMAX’s theatrical business.
1-3 years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, sales operations, business development, finance or related roles, ideally within streaming, entertainment, or technology.
Experience working cross‑functionally to support deal execution, revenue management across multiple accounts, or client and partner‑facing operations.
Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects to deliver high‑quality work with speed.
A curious and adaptable team player who thrives in fast‑moving, highly collaborative environments and approaches new challenges with curiosity and initiative.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
Passion for entertainment technology, streaming, sports media, and premium consumer experiences.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Degrees in business analytics, operations, economics, statistics or other quantitative fields preferred.
Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and deal structuring for brand partnerships/licensing agreements.
Experience building operational processes and workflow automations from 0-1 using AI tools.
New Role
Hiring Range / Salary$43,405.00 - $54,256.00 per year (final pay within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and the geographic location of the role. Additional non‑discretionary compensation may apply where eligible).
