Elevate payroll operations as a Payroll Consultant within the Greater Toronto Area. This role focuses on systems oversight, compliance, and team leadership to ensure efficient pay processing.
In this position, you will guide analysts on pay systems while ensuring compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations. Your key tasks include organizing training sessions, monitoring payroll activities, and collaborating with HR and finance teams. You will represent Pay Services in external communications, addressing complex payroll queries and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight for pay systems and processes
• Lead training initiatives for Pay Services analysts
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation
• Assist with system testing and updates
• Coordinate pay schedules with HR and finance
Requirements:
• 4 years of university training or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with payroll accounting practices
• Excellent English communication abilities
• Understanding of tax regulations relevant to pay
• Proficiency in technical writing for reporting
