As the Director reporting to the VP of Board Secretariat, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective governance support for HOOPP’s Board of Trustees and its Committees. Your leadership will focus on governance administration, operational efficiency, and advisory services, while fostering collaboration with key stakeholders. Your initiatives will enhance governance monitoring and decision-making frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of the Board Secretariat and governance support

• Facilitate communication between the Board and executive leadership

• Drive governance effectiveness and continuous improvement efforts

• Implement and promote advanced governance technologies

• Oversee administration of Board member logistics and events

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in Board governance or related fields

• Relevant degree; governance certification preferred

• Expertise in high-quality governance material delivery

• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and communication skills
