Position Title: Mail & Printer Operator
Work Location: ON - 5559 DUNDAS STREET W, Ontario
Salary Range: $41,280.00 - $56,760.00 annually
A temporary, full‑time position ending August 27 2026.
SummaryThis rotational position between mail and printing is responsible for sorting all incoming and outgoing mail for the Ontario Division, including coupons and inquiries, and for ensuring printing requests are completed by the end of each day. Duties also include operation and routine maintenance of printing equipment, daily cutting, padding and processing of printed materials.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and sort outbound/inbound mail to stores and field personnel.
- Maintain mail bags daily and prepare for shipping via courier.
- Deliver boxes and other parcels to departments in all offices by using a company vehicle (when in the rotation).
- Understand office mail run and post office procedures.
- Responsible for all mail delivery/pick‑up for office and other buildings once a day.
- Send outgoing packages and letters, including registered letters, same‑day delivery and special handling, using courier shipping systems.
- Track packages when necessary and assist in investigating all inquiries regarding missing, late, damaged or inaccurate shipments.
- Prepare and distribute envelopes as per various department requests.
- Sort and distribute product samples and deliver them to appropriate personnel.
- Process store supplies requisitions by selecting correct forms, boxing, labeling and shipping.
- Order and ship name badges to stores.
- Deliver copier/printer paper and other supplies to all office departments.
- Print reports, memos and forms for stores, pharmacies, offices and distribution centers on high‑speed printer/copiers.
- Print all jobs sent from other workstations to the Image Press Server.
- Combine files into one document for printing and retrieve and configure jobs on the command workstation.
- Scan documents into computer to ensure best reproduction.
- Maintain copiers and printers, including calling in service calls after all other avenues are exhausted.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance of all bindery equipment and paper cutter.
- Perform bindery operations such as binding, trimming, folding and finish wrapping.
- Assist with assembling various binders/packages, cuts and pads forms and perform coil binding of reports.
- Coordinate each job from printing to bindery to customer.
- High School Diploma required.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of courier shipping system and postage machine processes.
- Experience operating and small maintenance on high‑speed copier/printers an asset.
- Ability to prioritize urgent and critical tasks to achieve daily and weekly activities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 20 kg (44 lbs.) boxes.
- Valid G Driver’s License required.
- Exposure to noise, dust and toner.
- Required to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s licence only if you will be in the driving rotation.
- Possessing a valid forklift operator license is an asset (training available) only if you will be in this rotation.
