Job Summary

Position:
Business Insight Analyst in the Claims Insights team – TD Insurance.

Location:

Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Hours:

35 days per week. Business line:
Analytics, Insights, & Artificial Intelligence.

CAD 66,800 – 94,300 annually.

• Develop and improve analytic tools and methods to support insight generation.
• Identify proactively issues, emerging trends and opportunities arising from analysis and insights.
• Perform deep-dive analyses on claims results and communicate the results effectively.
• Contribute to the timely delivery and presentation of regular reporting and analysis on claims frequency, severity, and expense results to partners and executives across the organization.
• Oversee end-to-end analyses and insights solutions over a range of complexity, from the initial demand to the delivery of reporting or analysis and presentation of results.
• Apply an effective and collaborative approach to stakeholder management. Build and nurture positive working relationships with key partners and executives as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in General Insurance.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.
• Highly developed problem‑solving and analysis skills with consistent rigor in quality of work.
• Uses innovation and creativity to improve work efficiency and results.
• Effective in managing multiple priorities with strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners, and external stakeholders.
