Manager, Investor Relations (12-18 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Exciting opportunity to join Torex Gold's Corporate Development & Investor Relations team in a maternity leave coverage role. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Investor Relations, you will support the company's investor relations strategy, external communications, and public disclosure activities.

Work closely with senior leadership to communicate Torex Gold's business strategy, operational performance, and long-term value proposition to investors, analysts and the broader investment community. Prepare high-quality investor communications, support quarterly reporting activities, coordinate investor events and conferences, and maintain transparent and timely disclosure practices.

This full-scope role provides seamless coverage during the maternity leave period. We seek an independent, self-motivated professional who can integrate quickly, work independently, and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced public company environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Investor Relations Strategy & Execution

    Support the execution of Torex Gold's investor relations strategy by preparing communications that articulate the company's performance, growth strategy, and value proposition.

  • External Communications & Disclosure

    Draft and coordinate investor-facing communications, including quarterly earnings materials, press releases, presentations, scripts, and other disclosure documents. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

  • Investor & Analyst Engagement

    Plan and execute meetings with investors and equity research analysts. Prepare briefing materials, coordinate follow-up, monitor coverage, and nurture investor relationships.

  • Financial & Operational Analysis

    Analyze financial and operational data to develop clear, concise messaging for investors and support senior leadership with insights on market trends and analyst activity.

  • Investor Conferences & Events

    Coordinate participation in investor conferences, roadshows, and industry events; prepare materials, organize logistics, and ensure executives are briefed. Occasional travel may be required.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Partner with Finance, Technical Services, Operations, Sustainability, Legal and Executive Leadership to gather, validate and communicate information needed for investor communications.

  • Corporate Presentations & Materials

    Maintain and improve investor presentations, fact sheets, website content and other communication assets to reflect the company's performance and strategy.

  • Regulatory Compliance

    Support continuous disclosure document preparation and ensure adherence to securities regulations, exchange requirements and corporate governance standards.

  • Continuous Improvement

    Identify opportunities to enhance investor relations processes, reporting, materials and stakeholder engagement practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Communications or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Equity Research, Capital Markets or related field.
  • Experience supporting a publicly traded company.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and capital markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
