About the Job

As the Vendor Management Lead, you will oversee end‑to‑end vendor governance, onboarding, and lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key liaison between Accounts Payable, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure vendors are properly onboarded, monitored, and paid accurately. Working closely with the Global Accounts Payable leadership, you will support daily operations, risk mitigation efforts, and process improvement initiatives.

Your work will directly impact our operational scalability and ensure robust internal controls across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the end‑to‑end vendor onboarding process by validating banking details, collecting required tax documentation, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee vendor lifecycle management by conducting routine master list audits, monitoring vendor activity, and leading governance meetings to address performance, compliance, and risk.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Legal and Compliance, to perform due diligence, sanctions screening, and enforce Know Your Partner (KYP) requirements.
  • Manage procurement operations and vendor master data controls within enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy, preventing duplicate records, and updating critical vendor information.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor onboarding automation, standardize processes, and optimize Accounts Payable workflows.
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner and point of contact for resolving vendor‑related issues, compliance holds, banking discrepancies, and maintenance requests.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, strategic sourcing, accounts payable, or supplier governance.
  • Proven expertise in vendor onboarding processes, lifecycle management, compliance requirements, and third‑party risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, vendor management platforms, and accounts payable automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, vendor governance practices, operational risk management, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global vendor operations within multi‑entity environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Know Your Partner (KYP) compliance requirements, sanctions screening, and payment security controls.
  • (Not mandatory mand) Hands‑on experience with specific accounts payable automation and vendor onboarding platforms.
  • Proven track record of participating in or leading system implementation and process improvement projects.
  • Professional certifications in procurement, supply chain, finance, or vendor management.
