Community Liaison Officer

• Candidates will have to develop outreach and communication plans to inform the public of construction activities and their impacts and mitigation measures.
• Candidates are also appointed to manage, track and report on all public correspondence and document any initial claims of noise complaints, property damage or personal injury for investigation and response.
• Candidates will also have to liaise with property owners, managers, residents, tenants, site staff, contractors and local agencies to manage on‑site construction issues.
• Candidates are required to identify and resolve potential construction‑related problems or issues of concern that may arise within the community as a result of both pending and on‑site construction activities.

• Candidates must attain the completion of a post‑secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience.
• Candidates must attain 3-4 years of directly related work experience.
• Candidates must be familiar with the principles, methods, practices and terminology associated with construction activities.
• Candidates must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel, databases and PowerPoint.

• Candidates with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential to be preferred for this post.
