Banking Associate-EFTR

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr

• Perform independent reviews of EFTR data discrepancies and data incompleteness alerts.
• Remediate EFTR records by updating relevant data fields accurately.
• Validate data accuracy through reconciliation, verification, and exception handling.
• Identify, correct, or elevate data quality issues within SLAs.
• Draft and manage RFIs with internal partners for missing or conflicting data.
• Support end-to-end EFTR remediation and reporting activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analyze source documentation to determine accurate reporting outcomes.
• Escalate operational issues, data quality gaps, or control weaknesses.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct detailed analysis of data trends to identify systemic issues.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders.

• 1.5+ years of experience in FINTRAC EFTR regulatory reporting.
• Prior experience in a corporate or financial services environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Ability to work independently and manage moderate to high complexity tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven team player with strong communication skills.

• Previous experience working within a bank or financial institution.
• Knowledge of AML procedures and regulatory frameworks beyond EFTR.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
