Enhance workplace safety with Toronto Community Housing as a Health and Safety Associate. Utilize your OHS expertise in a hybrid work environment to support compliance and staff engagement.
As a full-time Health and Safety Associate, you'll contribute to TCHC’s vision by ensuring occupational health and safety adherence across the organization. This role requires at least two years of relevant experience and knowledge of health and safety management principles. You’ll engage with divisional managers to provide guidelines and implement health safety programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide OHS expertise to managers and union representatives
• Monitor compliance with established OHS program requirements
• Lead Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings
• Track safety metrics and maintain relevant databases
• Develop safety training and awareness campaigns
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in occupational health and safety
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
