Healthcare Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide a comprehensive range of business analysis services supporting complex business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

• Provide business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technology needs.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through stakeholder engagement and collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Develop and advise on business analysis processes, best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Lead business analysis activities to identify business problems, opportunities, and solution requirements.
• Apply business process transformation and re-engineering concepts to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Conduct business analysis across all project phases and levels of detail.
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, strategies, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
• Create business models, use case models, data models, process maps, and business rules documentation.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Develop performance measures and traceability matrices to support business analysis effectiveness.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement activities and contribute to project documentation, presentations, and briefing materials.

• Experience supporting systems development initiatives using a rules engine or business process automation platform.

• Experience leading business analysis activities to identify and document business requirements.

• Experience preparing approval documents, regulatory support materials, and project documentation.
• Experience documenting requirements for business rule automation and workflow management solutions.
• Experience supporting QA, system testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Knowledge of policy development, business analysis, and data analysis practices.

• Experience with in healthcare or clinical environments.
• Experience supporting stakeholder engagement in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of privacy and security considerations related to software development in healthcare.
• Experience with claims adjudication or pharmaceutical-related environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and meet deadlines.
• Experience leading teams, work groups, committees, or project streams.

• Experience using information retrieval tools and packages.
• Knowledge of information management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into technology specifications.
• Experience with business functional modelling, business event modelling, and business process mapping.
• Experience using structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and related regulations.

• Onsite position.
• Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
