Join WSP as a Project Resource Specialist in Thornhill or Toronto, ON, and empower transformative projects in rail and transit.
Your role will focus on staffing, resource allocation, and project readiness.
As a central figure in our Rail and Transit team, you will coordinate staffing plans, manage resource onboarding, and oversee mobilization efforts. Collaborating with discipline leads, you will ensure optimal resource deployment aligned with project deliverables. Your analytical skills will drive efficiency and support informed decision-making for project leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain resource management plans in sync with project schedules
• Collaborate with leads to assess staffing and skill needs
• Coordinate mobilization and streamline onboarding processes
• Create capability matrix updates and resource utilization reports
• Assist in project proposals and CV formatting
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related area
• Experience in resource management and project coordination
• Familiarity with engineering roles and staffing workflows
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for tracking and presentations
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
