Position: Senior Product Manager – Open Banking
We are seeking a
Senior Product Manager to support an
Open Banking initiative within Banking, focused on data flow and regulatory-driven transformation. This is a 6-month contract (with potential extension and possible conversion), starting ASAP. The role operates in a hybrid model with mandatory onsite presence on Tuesdays and one Friday per month at 81 Bay Street. The position involves leading product strategy,
cross-functional collaboration, and execution of open banking capabilities aligned with regulatory and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities include the following;Define and drive product strategy for Open Banking capabilities within Business BankingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver regulatory and digital initiativesLead end-to-end product planning, execution, and incremental delivery in an Agile environmentTranslate business and regulatory requirements into clear product roadmaps and outcomesEngage stakeholders across business, technology, and operations teams to ensure alignmentSupport digital transformation and ongoing business banking initiativesIdentify opportunities for process improvement, growth, and innovationEnsure delivery of business outcomes through structured planning and executionMust-Have Requirements include the following;5-7 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Strategic DeliveryStrong experience in Business Banking or financial services environmentExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsProven ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadershipStrong understanding of business functions and digital implementationExperience in business planning, product strategy, and change managementStrong communication and presentation skillsBachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteNice-to-Have skills include the following;
Exposure to Open Banking initiativesExperience with JiraSmall business banking experienceExperience working in top-tier financial institutionsSoft Skills include the following;
