Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Sourcing Manager - 58514
We are seeking a results-driven, highly adaptable Sourcing Manager to join a dynamic enterprise procurement team in a premier financial institution. In this role, you will quarterback end-to-end sourcing engagements across technology, commodities, and professional services in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.

While candidates with solid strategic sourcing backgrounds are encouraged to apply, top priority is placed on exceptional soft skills, including high-level executive stakeholder management, rapid decision-making, and strong project leadership. You will operate independently to shepherd high-priority business initiatives from intake through contract execution, directly impacting operational success across multiple lines of business.

Location:

Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Contract Duration: 3 months (High likelihood of extension to 12+ months based on project funding)

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, Core Business Hours (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate $58.27

Advantages
High Extension Potential:
While initially funded for 3 months due to project cycles, there is a very strong likelihood of extension to a 12+ month term.
High-Impact Exposure:
Direct, daily interaction with senior executives and key decision-makers across a top-tier corporate environment.
Collaborative Culture:
Join a supportive, highly respected team environment that values autonomy, growth, and professional development.
Competitive Compensation

Responsibilities
End-to-End Engagement Shepherding:
Manage a portfolio of 20–25 concurrent sourcing engagements of varying complexity, driving projects from initial intake kickoff through supplier selection, risk assessments, and final contract execution.
Executive Stakeholder Management:
Act as a strategic partner to internal lines of business; present proposed sourcing pathways, recommendations, and market intelligence to senior leadership to secure buy-in.
Commercial & Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and contractual agreements across a wide spectrum of complexities—ranging from standard Purchase Orders (POs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to full Master Services Agreements (MSAs).
Cross-Functional Risk Governance:
Partner weekly with internal Risk and Oversight functions (e.g., Cybersecurity, Compliance, Financial Controls) to ensure potential vendors pass required vetting, governance, and assessment frameworks.
Sourcing Strategy Execution:
Evaluate market options to recommend optimal procurement routes, whether through sole-sourcing strategies or leading competitive market events (RFPs/RFQs).

Qualifications
Must-Have

Qualifications:

Soft Skills & Executive Presence:
Exceptional verbal/written communication, strong interpersonal acumen, time management, and proven success influencing senior-level stakeholders.
Project Management Capability:
Ability to run engagements like dedicated projects, managing multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Negotiation & Contracting:
Proven experience negotiating commercial terms and contract structures (e.g., SOWs, MSAs, POs)—specifically owning the contract execution process, not just reviewing documents.
Regulated Industry

Experience:

Prior background navigating complex, highly regulated environments (Financial Services, Banking, or Healthcare preferred).
Self-Starter Mindset:
Proactive, highly resourceful, and able to hit the ground running with rapid decision-making skills.

Nice-to-Have

Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree or formal Supply Chain/Procurement certifications.
