We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join our team supporting the delivery of large-scale commercial and residential developments.
Reporting to the Architectural Project Leads and Principals, you will play a key role in overseeing the cost and schedule aspects of multiple projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams including BIM, Specification Writers, Document Control, HR, and Office Management, as well as external Consultants and Client representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Leads in managing the cost performance of projectsAssist with compiling contacts, maintaining accurate records of contract-related communications, and ensuring insurance documents are kept up to dateManage change control and additional services processes with project teams and client representativesOversee financial management tasks including drafting fee proposals, cost tracking, invoice management, and financial reportingMonitor and report on resource allocation and utilization; prepare team organizational charts where requiredPrepare, coordinate, and monitor design schedules in collaboration with the wider design teamsMaintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with QA/QC proceduresAttend budget-related meetings, record minutes and track actions to ensure effective follow-upLiaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholdersExperience and Skills:
Strong understanding of Commercial Management within a design environmentArchitecturally trained or extensive experience within large architectural practices and/or the construction industryExperience managing change control and additional services processesExperience in financial management including drafting fee proposals, cost management, invoice tracking, and financial reviewsProficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam;
Autodesk ACC; and schedule management tools such as Asta Powerproject or similarDemonstrable experience managing design schedules and coordinating multidisciplinary teamsAbility to prepare team organizational charts and monitor resource utilizationComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamExperience in coordinating budget meetings and accurate minute-takingIndustry qualifications such as PMI/PMP are desirable but not essentialPersonal Attributes:
