About Embold

Embold runs Creator Programs for Canadian brands. Our platform handles the operational side of that work: real-time performance tracking, direct API data from the social networks, content review, and creator payments. Our team runs it on behalf of clients. Behind it sits a network of 12,000+ authenticated Canadian creators, with another 50,000+ we can source for regional and cultural campaigns, including strong coverage in Quebec.

Since 2018 we have delivered programs for 500+ Canadian brands, among them Wayfair, Coinbase, BISSELL, and Koodo.

The role

Agency partners have become one of our strongest channels. We work with shops across the country, from national networks to independents, and a growing share of the Creator Programs we run come through them. That side of the business has grown faster than we planned for, which is what this hire is about.

More creator budget gets planned and managed inside agencies every year, and the holding company networks in Toronto sit closest to those decisions. They bring the client relationships. We bring Canadian creator execution and the data to back it up, often under their brand rather than ours. That model is working. We want more of it.

You would join our existing sales team and focus entirely on agency development, owning relationships end to end from first conversation through signed agreement and into repeat work. Media, social, content, PR, and creator practices inside the global networks are the priority. Canadian independents remain in scope.

Worth being clear on one thing: this is a senior, quota-carrying seat. You would be building and closing your own pipeline. The difference is that you would be doing it with existing partnerships, case studies, and reference-able programs behind you rather than starting cold.

What you would own
  • Building and closing a pipeline of agency partnerships, starting with the networks with the largest Canadian presence
  • Mapping the org to find who actually controls creator and UGC budget inside each practice, then getting in front of them
  • Turning first programs into ongoing, multi-practice relationships
  • Negotiating commercial terms including white-label arrangements, preferred rates, revenue share, and non-competes
  • Working deals through procurement, MSAs, and vendor onboarding
  • Partnering with our operations team to scope programs agencies feel good putting in front of their clients
  • Bringing the market back to us: what agencies are being asked for, what they are pitching, where we should sharpen
What we are looking for
  • Seven or more years selling into agencies, or time spent inside one before moving to this side of the table
  • An active Toronto network you can start calling early on. Much of this role rests on relationships you already have
  • Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and hitting a number consistently
  • A working understanding of agency economics: pass-through versus fee, who owns the budget line, how long procurement actually takes
  • Background in creator, social, media, or content services
  • Comfort with ambiguity. This is a dynamic role that will require candidates to be adaptable to market feedback and changes in our industry.
Compensation

$200,000 CAD on-target earnings, uncapped. Base and variable split is flexible for the right person.

Comprehensive health benefits.

This role will be eligible for our employee stock option plan.
