Centre Director

• Accountable for providing strategic and day-to-day direction in leading centre teams to achieve financial, enrollment, and excellence targets.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including children, parents, ministry representatives and the leadership and teams.
• Responsible for providing centre level leadership through providing scheduling, training, coaching, feedback and guidance to effectively develop the team.
• Ensure the health, safety and wellness of the children and team members within the centres.
• Develops, fosters and maintains collaborative partnerships with community partners and the organization’s leadership and support centre teams.

• Is detail-oriented with a deep understanding of ministry and regulations pertaining to CCYEA licensing and other legislated standards

• Is an expert in time management and personal organization.
• Is self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently
• Has experience working with children of all age groups in an early childhood education setting

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized Ontario Post
  - Secondary Institution or AECEO Equivalency.
• Childcare Management Certificate or equivalent an asset.
• Registered member of the College of ECE in good standing (RECE).
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience with knowledge and experience operating a childcare centre.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING:

• Obtain Supervisor Director Approval from the Ministry of Education as per the CCEYA
• 2 Step TB
• Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
