Become a Counsellor at Canadian Adventure Camp – Summer 2026

Canadian Adventure Camp is a full-service children’s summer camp located on stunning 160-acre Adventure Island in Temagami, Ontario. Each summer, we welcome campers and staff from around the world to experience over 35 exciting activities and four high-level specialty programs. Home to 150 campers ages 7–17, CAC is a place where adventure, growth, and lifelong friendships come alive.

The Role:
Counsellor

Counsellors are the heart of CAC. This is a diverse, dynamic, and demanding role that puts you directly at the centre of the camper experience.

As a counsellor, you will:

  • Live in cabins with campers, supporting their day-to-day needs
  • Lead a variety of non-specialty activities such as kayaking, archery, arts & crafts, climbing, and more.
  • Help create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where campers can thrive.
  • Bring energy, positivity, and resilience to camp life every single day.

    • This position is perfect for adaptable, compassionate, and enthusiastic team players who love working with children and are ready to make a real impact on their summer. Most counsellors are Canadian or international staff in their early 20s- but above all, we’re looking for people with the right attitude, dedication, and heart.

    Requirements

  • Current Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must be 19 years or older
