Become a Kitchen Float at Tumpane Child Care Centre, and play a vital role in creating healthy meals for children. This temporary contract position starts on September 8, 2025, and focuses on food safety and menu planning.
Join a reputable multi-site Childcare Operator as a Kitchen Float. You will implement safe food handling according to Toronto Public Health while coordinating meal plans and dietary needs with the Supervisor.
Your role supports a positive environment to enhance children's nutrition and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Plan and order meals with the Supervisor
• Prepare snacks and lunches per posted menus
• Serve daily meals and manage food delivery
• Rotate and label food stock for freshness
Requirements:
• Current Food Handler Certificate
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Knowledge of Childcare Operations
• Ability to work independently and in teams
