Social Media and Content Manager

• Lead Fitzrovia’s brand storytelling and growth across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In, and Reddit
• Develop and oversee the content strategy and execution for social media, property blogs, and other digital touchpoints
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate the Social Media Coordinator, ensuring timely and high‑quality execution of social calendars, community engagement, and digital asset management; step in as needed to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and to standard
• Oversee the creation and production of compelling content — including posts, reels, videos, stories, and campaigns — that align with brand and business objectives
• Guide the development of a 4–6 week content calendar and ensure agility to respond to real‑time opportunities
• Write or refine engaging copy that reflects Fitzrovia’s brand voice and messaging
• Plan and direct influencer and partnership programs that drive engagement and elevate brand awareness
• Analyze social media and content performance, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to optimize results
• Conduct regular competitive and trend audits to inform Fitzrovia’s digital strategy and content approach
• Support on‑site coverage for events, resident experiences, and community moments as needed
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives across the portfolio
• Partner with leadership to produce high‑quality corporate video and photography projects, including CEO and executive interviews
• Plan, coordinate, and represent Fitzrovia at events such as student fairs, community activations, and charitable initiatives, including securing leasing team coverage and managing event setup and logistics
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve Fitzrovia’s digital presence
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and VP of Marketing

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in social media management and content creation
• Experience leading, coaching, or overseeing a direct report or team
• Proven ability to independently produce and direct engaging photo, video, and written content
• Strong creative eye with a deep understanding of contemporary trends in design, photography, and lifestyle branding
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video and photo editing, and graphic design
• Experience using social media analytics and scheduling tools
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and make strategic recommendations
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Enthusiastic and outgoing, comfortable appearing on camera and representing the brand at events
• Accountable and hands‑on, willing to step in to ensure content and campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Self‑starter with a resourceful, solutions‑oriented approach
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
• Given the nature of the role, flexibility in working hours is expected, including occasional evenings or weekends for content coverage and brand events
