Cine Send is a fast-growing video technology company based in Toronto and Los Angeles, and we are looking for you to join our team. We’re the industry leader in high-security video storage, encoding and delivery. Our customers are some of the world’s top brands, including major Hollywood Studios, international airlines, top universities and other cutting-edge enterprises.

Join our team as a Video Technician, where you’ll be responsible for encoding, quality control and delivery of media to cinemas, film festivals, airplanes, and other locations – all with an aim to entertain and inspire the world.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Quality control video content to ensure it meets picture, sound and technical standards
  • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and other software tools
  • Retime caption and subtitle text files to align with spoken language on screen
  • Encode Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) using Clipster or other software tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve workflow exceptions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality production standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in video production
  • Monitor content workflows using our software tools to ensure deliveries are on time
  • Maintain documentation of the quality control process

  • Passion for software and technology – ideally, you also love movies
  • Bonus: a strong understanding of video post-production processes and familiarity with industry standard video codes and at least one major NLE system (FCPX, Resolve, Avid, Premiere Pro). Prior experience with DCP creation is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate, particularly those with a strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new skills.

Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Flexible hours to start. This position expected to transition to a full-time schedule in March 2026:
    Wednesday - Sunday from 10am - 6:30pm (Weekend work required).
In Person (Office Only)
  • This position is located at our downtown Toronto office, conveniently located across from The Well at King & Spadina. For security reasons, work cannot be completed at home.
