Call for Submissions – Virtual Gallery at the J

The Miles Nadal JCC of downtown Toronto is looking for artists in all stages of their careers to participate in our  virtual gallery season. Interested artists/organizations have until July 2, 2021 to apply!

The Virtual Gallery at the J is searching for artists in all stages of their careers to participate in our  virtual season. The MNjcc strives to be an inclusive and welcoming hub for a healthy and joyful community, anchored in Jewish values. We have found that many of those values are universal and the Gallery at the J is the perfect opportunity to explore them together.

The Gallery at the J strives to reflect the diversity of our community. We welcome submissions from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, D/deaf persons and persons with disabilities. If you require any accommodations during the submission process, please contact deannad

• A virtual exhibit hosted on Canva
• The opportunity to sell their work
• The option of a virtual opening reception, tea talk or workshop
• Presence on the MNjcc Gallery web page
• A listing in the Culture at the J bi-weekly e-newsletter (distribution approx. 3,000)
• A listing in the MNjcc Pulse e-newsletter (distribution approx. 15,000)

• Paintings, sketches, illustrations, photography, sculpture, textiles, animation, video and sound sculptures welcome.
• Digital works only. Mailed submissions will not be accepted.
• It is recommended that works for sale be priced between $100-$2500 to maximize this opportunity.
• Artists may apply as individuals or as a group; however, there must be only one contact person to liaise with the MNjcc.

There is no exhibit fee for Canva-hosted exhibits.

Sales are subject to 20% MNjcc commission.

Completed application forms must be submitted no later than July 2, 2021
