Bilingual UX Content Writer (FR/EN)
Location:
Toronto, ON
Contract:
12 month, start June 29, 2026. Pay Rate C $50–75 / Hour (CAD).
One of GTT's financial services clients needs a bilingual UX/content writer to join their content team. The role focuses on migrating French content for the company's external public‑facing website to a new Content Management System.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with English writers to translate content into French, ensuring alignment and localization in tone, style, and terminology.
- Manage review, feedback, and approval processes with stakeholders.
- Support content strategy, editorial guidelines, and messaging models, aligning with English writers on localization needs.
- Research, write, edit, translate, and proofread online materials (e.g., website content, articles, transcripts, screen content, error messages, user guides), ensuring adherence to brand standards, accessibility guidelines and cross‑site consistency.
- Work closely with web publishing and project teams to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Bilingual French and English (written Canadian French).
- Ability to work under time pressures, prioritizing delivery over perfection.
- Strong command of written Canadian French and proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with content strategy best practices, user experience and SEO.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence and Slack.
- Experience building digital financial products and using Content Management Systems.
- Knowledge of inclusive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
Degree or diploma in French, Journalism, or Communications with experience in digital marketing and technical writing.
Required ExperienceExperience in digital marketing and technical writing, alongside the stated education.
