Job Type: T4 Contract

Job Location: Toronto, Canada (90% remote)

Experience: 6+ Years

Rate: CAD 50 55 per hour

We are hiring for this role, where the selected candidate will work on a product-focused initiative in the construction technology domain. You'll design high-quality user interfaces, contribute to scalable design systems, and help shape AI-driven user experiences across modern platforms.

• You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to plan and deliver scalable design solutions.
• Build and refine UI patterns aligned with design systems for consistent user experiences.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems with reusable components and standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across different stages of the product lifecycle.
• Present your design work clearly, explaining decisions and expected outcomes.
• Support efforts to improve design processes and strengthen platform consistency.
• Work closely with teams to explore AI-driven UX patterns and experiment with new ideas.

• 6-8 years of experience in visual product design or UX/UI
  .
• Solid understanding of typography
  , color theory
  , layout
  , and visual hierarchy
  .
• Strong experience delivering high-quality visual
  UI design for digital products
  .
• Hands‑on experience working with or contributing to design systems.
• Experience creating wireframes
  , prototypes
  , and production‑ready UI designs
  .
• Experience in presenting design work to stakeholders with a clear rationale.
• Experience designing for mobile platforms
  .
• Exposure to AI‑driven interfaces or emerging technologies.

• Experience with interaction design
  , including user flows and usability testing.
• Familiarity with animation or motion design
  .
• Experience in construction tech,
  CAD tools
  , or similar domains.
• Background in user research or usability insights.
