Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Designer who really understands social.
Based in Toronto, you’ll work for brands that want to show up in culture, not just post into the void. This isn’t about maintaining calendars, it’s about creating work people actually care about.
This role is for a visual thinker, maker, and social-native designer who can turn audience behaviour, platform trends, brand systems, and cultural moments into work people actually notice.
You’ll design across always‑on content, campaigns, creator partnerships, social toolkits, pitch work, and integrated brand moments — bringing strong taste, strong craft, and a clear point of view to everything you make.
You’ll work closely with art directors, copywriters, strategists, account leads, media, production, community, and creator partners to make work that moves quickly without losing its quality.

Responsibilities- Design social‑first creative across always‑on content, campaigns, creator partnerships, pitches, and integrated brand moments.
- Translate cultural, behavioural, and platform insights into visual ideas that feel timely, ownable, and built for how people use social.
- Develop design concepts, visual systems, mood boards, storyboards, mockups, social templates, presentation designs, and production‑ready assets.
- Bring solid craft to layout, typography, colour, composition, hierarchy, motion, image treatment, and digital storytelling.
- Adapt brand systems into platform‑native creative across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, and emerging channels.
- Clearly present design thinking and rationale to internal teams and clients using visual references, written explanation, and strategic context.
- Interpret feedback, identify the real ask, and translate stakeholder input into stronger creative work.
- Partner closely with creative, strategy, account, media, production, community, and creator teams from brief through delivery.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, feedback rounds, and deliverables while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and high creative standards.
- Mentor junior designers and creatives through explicit direction, constructive feedback, and support that helps them grow.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to support visual exploration, storyboards, pitch concepts, presentation design, mockups, custom assets, and production efficiencies.
- 5+ years of experience in a creative agency, social agency, digital agency, design studio, content studio, or comparable creative environment.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates social‑first design, visual craft, platform fluency, and the ability to bring ideas from concept through execution.
- Strong design skills across layout, typography, colour, composition, motion, image‑making, presentation design, and digital storytelling.
- Deep understanding of how brands show up across social platforms, including organic, paid, creator‑led, and campaign content.
- Demonstrated platform fluency across Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In, and emerging channels, including formats, behaviours, specs, and best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Keynote, and relevant social or creator tools.
- Ability to communicate design concepts clearly, defend creative decisions, and translate feedback into actionable design improvements.
- Strong creative problem‑solving skills, with the ability to explore multiple concepts, adapt quickly, and protect the integrity of the idea.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, feedback loops, and production needs in a fast‑moving environment.
