Intermediate Designer

Jacknife - Toronto, ON

  • Full Time
  • Intermediate
  • Hybrid

Jacknife is looking for a Designer with 3-5 years of experience to help shape and deliver creative work for a range of clients, including large, high-profile brands. You are a design‑led thinker with a strong foundation in visual communication, typography, layout, and brand systems. You care about craft, but you also understand that great design solves problems, creates clarity, and helps brands connect with people.

You’ve developed the ability to take projects from concept through execution while working within established brand guidelines and creative frameworks. You are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and producing thoughtful, high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a hands‑on design role. You’ll spend your days creating, refining, adapting, and rolling out work across a variety of touchpoints. You will work closely with senior designers, creative directors, account teams, and production partners to bring ideas to life while continuing to grow your strategic thinking and creative confidence.

The right fit is someone who is curious, collaborative, and eager to contribute. You bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. You’re comfortable receiving feedback, adapting to changing priorities, and taking ownership of your work. You understand that successful creative work is rarely a solo effort and that the best ideas are often built together.
