Position: Director of Design for Luxury Outerwear
Join a leading luxury outerwear brand as the Outerwear Design Director in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on overseeing seasonal collections and leading a creative team of designers.

You’ll be responsible for setting the creative vision for both Women's and Men's outerwear lines, combining modern aesthetics with functional designs. The role includes mentoring your team, as well as collaborating with Product Development and Technical teams to maintain the premium quality the brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define creative direction for both Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter

• Focus on elevating the Women’s collection through refined tailoring

• Guide Men’s designs balancing functionality and style

• Manage a team of designers to enhance creative collaboration

• Conduct research on materials for innovative outerwear

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in luxury outerwear or ready-to-wear

• Expertise in tailoring, fit, and engineered silhouettes

• Experience in successfully evolving collections

• Strong pattern making skills

• Portfolio showcasing innovation and luxury design
