Content Writer
The future of content writing? It's Super Proper.
We're looking for an ambitious, multi-talented Content Writer to work primarily on retail, automotive & luxury projects. You'll support the creative department by writing, adapting, revising, and modifying copy across a huge range of outputs - then collaborate with every part of the shop to see the creative vision through to the finishline.
You're extremely comfortable writing emails, search copy, and social posts. You've spent time in the retail and/or automotive space (or you're hungry to). You get what makes people fall in love with a brand experience, a campaign or a moment of design, and you know how to translate that passion into words that move people.
We're building a creative practice for the age of AI and automation. You'll bring craft, curiosity, and a love of the work - writing copy that performs across CRM, search, and social while staying obsessed with the details that make great writing great.
What you’ll do- Write across the full spectrum : craft copy for CRM emails, search, social posts, web, print, identity, and spatial projects. You move fluidly between formats and tones depending on the brief.
- Pick up projects at any stage : jump into work at various points in the process - whether it's a blank page or a near-final draft - and carry the creative vision through to completion.
- Collaborate across the shop : work with designers, strategists, and the broader creative team, while reporting to and collaborating with the marketing department day-to-day.
- Adapt and refine : write, revise, adapt, and modify copy and outputs as projects evolve. You take feedback well and use it to make the work stronger.
- Understand what makes compelling retail experiences : understand the market, the main voices and what stands out in copy to bring it to life.
- Champion the automotive fan's perspective : bring genuine enthusiasm for cars, design, luxury and the automotive world. You write like someone who actually loves the category.
- Manage and catalogue project files : keep project assets and files organized, catalogued, and easy to find. You're the person who knows where everything is.
- Maintain consistency and craft : ensure copy is on‑brand, error‑free, and polished across every touchpoint. You sweat the details because they matter.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in copywriting or content writing at an agency, brand, or in‑house creative team.
- Retail, automotive and/or luxury fluency : experience writing in the retail and/or automotive space, or demonstrable knowledge of and genuine interest in retail, automotive and luxury brands. You understand the tone, the audience, and what makes brands feel close to consumers and premium.
- Multi‑format writing chops : extremely comfortable writing CRM emails, search copy, and social posts - and adaptable enough to write for web, print, identity, and spatial projects too.
- Technical skills : experience with Keynote and PowerPoint/MS Office for building and presenting work.
- Autonomous and collaborative : equally great working solo or as part of a team. You know when to put your head down and when to bring others in.
- Multi‑project stamina : able to manage several concurrent projects without missing a beat. You stay organized when things get busy.
- Detail‑obsessed and highly organized : you catch typos, inconsistencies, and broken logic. Nothing sloppy gets past you.
- Open to feedback and direction : you take notes well and use them to strengthen the work - yours and the team’s.
- A learner’s mindset : willing to learn new skillsets and software, and up to date with new industry standards and tools (including AI writing tools and workflows).
- Comfortable with hybrid working : willing to work in a hybrid environment with regular check‑ins at our client’s office.
