AGO Associate Curator of Contemporary Art

As an Associate Curator at the AGO, you will collaborate closely with the Rapp Curator to develop the contemporary art collection, plan exhibitions, and promote a vibrant dialogue about art among diverse audiences. Your work will significantly contribute to the AGO's mission of presenting art as a vital cultural force.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contemporary art collection installations and rotations

• Execute major exhibitions in partnership with renowned institutions

• Research and acquire significant contemporary works

• Lead committee meetings and cultivate stakeholder engagement

• Publish and document research on contemporary art themes
Requirements:

• Master’s in Art History or similar discipline

• At least 5 years in curatorial positions

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Proven record of negotiation and stakeholder management

• Familiarity with contemporary art trends
