York University is looking for a versatile Communications Specialist to join the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change. You will coordinate impactful content that supports initiatives and builds community connections. This position requires creativity in graphic design, video editing, and a strong understanding of digital trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft engaging content for social media and print
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance outreach
• Utilize analytics to assess communication effectiveness
• Produce multimedia materials for promotions and reports
• Maintain compliance with AODA design standards
Requirements:
• Degree in Communications or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years in communications or related fields
• Familiarity with Adobe tools and social media analytics
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
