OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a Senior Content Designer to shape AI experiences for an enterprise financial services client. This role goes beyond traditional UX writing. You’ll help design how the product thinks, responds, and behaves through language.

As a core member of a cross-functional pod, you’ll shape conversational patterns, reduce risk, and make sure content is clear, compliant, and genuinely useful to clients. You’ll partner closely with product, design, engineering, data, and legal.

Rate: $56/hour T4

6 month contract, with high potential to extend

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design conversational experiences where language is the interface
  • Create structured response patterns, prompts, and reusable conversation frameworks
  • Define and evolve voice, tone, and behavioural guidelines for AI-driven interactions
  • Build content guardrails that manage risk, ambiguity, and regulated financial scenarios
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable client-facing content
  • Partner with product, engineering, data, and compliance to align on safe, accurate outputs
  • Shape content systems, including patterns, taxonomy, and knowledge structures
  • Support usability testing and evaluate content quality across AI responses
QUALIFICATIONS Must-Haves
  • 3 to 5+ years in content design or UX writing
  • Strong ability to reduce ambiguity and risk through precise, thoughtful language
  • Experience working in Agile teams with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to think in systems (patterns, reuse, scalability), not just screens or flows
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, design, and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with accessibility and WCAG standards
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing conversational or system-driven content
  • Financial services or other regulated domain experience
  • Experience defining quality criteria or evaluation frameworks for content
