About the Role
As a Social Media Intern, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our digital presence through content creation, platform management, and trend analysis. Your responsibilities will include creating graphics, scheduling posts, engaging with our audience, and collaborating on campaigns. This role provides hands‑on experience with social media tools and creative software, offering valuable insight into the digital side of fashion media.
Requirements- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in communications, marketing, media studies, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook) and scheduling tools.
- Experience with Canva and other graphic design software for creating engaging social media visuals.
- Ability to conduct trend research and source content that aligns with our magazine’s brand and aesthetic.
- Basic skills in video editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps are preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills for managing content calendars, assets, and social media tasks efficiently.
- Keen eye for social media aesthetics, creativity, and understanding of what drives digital engagement.
- Ability to proofread captions, check hashtags, and ensure high‑quality, on‑brand content.
- An interest in fashion, lifestyle, and digital trends, with an understanding of social media’s role in brand identity.
- Availability of 15‑20 hours per week part‑time, or 30‑35 hours per week full‑time, with flexibility around deadlines and content schedules.
- A portfolio or examples of social media work (if available) showcasing your skills and creativity is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role, gaining hands‑on experience in social media for a fashion publication.
Payment: Unpaid – Experience and credits (if applicable).
Schedule: Part‑time and full‑time options available.
- Part‑time: 15‑20 hours per week.
- Full‑time: 30‑35 hours per week.
