As a Senior Business Reporter, you will be instrumental in covering significant economic topics and trends affecting Canadian businesses and consumers. With a temporary contract from August 2026 to July 2027, this role requires an adept storyteller experienced in pitching live stories. You must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant journalistic experience and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pitch stories relevant to Canadian businesses

• Report live during major economic events and announcements

• Conduct thorough research and interviews with diverse sources

• Create content for both digital and broadcast platforms

• Work closely with editors to enhance story quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
