Job TitleCreative Lead, Digital & eCommerce
Position OverviewTo inspire and deliver great creative work for all Canada Goose Digital and eCommerce marketing initiatives. To push the boundaries of creativity and the abilities of the team and find new, unexpected ways to drive customer engagement and generate buzz for the Canada Goose brand.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executional oversight for all Digital and eCommerce creative programs and marketing deliverables.
- Lead and execute projects from concept to completion for a wide range of Digital marketing outputs such as digital campaigns, short‑form video, interactive web experiences, varieties of social content, and eCommerce photoshoots.
- Inspire and mentor teams of various levels to reach their full potential and produce the best work possible by adapting to each individual's style of communication and motivations.
- Successfully communicate (present and sell‑in) creative ideas and their rationale to partners within the marketing department as well as other common collaborators like product design, wholesale, retail, and eCommerce teams.
- Keep internal clients abreast of progress and adapt to any changes in creative through the course of project work.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the creative production team to bring ideas to life on time and on budget.
- Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team of art directors and designers.
- Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
- Own the visual identity for both internal and external brand communication components such as graphic design and typography as it pertains to Digital and eCommerce channels.
- Work closely with the online experience and interactive design team of
- Manage the global creation, production, and distribution of Digital assets globally.
- Localize global digital/eCommerce assets and create local or regional creative assets in cooperation with regional leaders as necessary.
- Understand and adhere to the creative production budget; establish and maintain external partnerships with design and production agencies.
- Provide the brand with strategic direction for how the brand comes to life in our activations.
- Hire, develop, and manage the creative team.
- 10 to 15 years of successful brand marketing leadership experience covering both creative agency and complex corporate environments.
- Experience with effective storytelling through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Experience building and leading amazing creative teams.
- Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with high degree of uncertainty.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and reactive, ability to prioritize projects and adjust as needed.
- Ability to understand and work within established budgets.
- Positive attitude, team oriented, optimistic, flexible, solutions thinker, problem solver.
- Understanding of the production of photoshoots and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Exceptional design and layout skills.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, the creative process, and brand development.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and interface with senior and executive leadership both internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate and inspire through effective presentation skills.
- Embodies and encourages intelligent creativity.
- Proactive and forward thinker while being strategic in a conceptual approach.
- Salary range: $145,000 - $181,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
