Job Title

Texture Artist – reporting to the Texture Supervisor (Team Lead).

Purpose

To create textures and shaders based on visual and narrative requirements from the Art director and episodic director while working within the technical specifications of the show.

Delivery
  • Artistically and technically accurate textures and shaders in collaboration with the Art Department.
  • Pipeline and IT tickets.
  • 3D turntable renders.
Measurements
  • Completion of tasks within the agreed schedule.
  • Handling of revisions and tweaks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete textures and shaders in various styles within the agreed time.
  • Proactively problem solve, creating IT and pipeline tickets to address technical issues for the department.
  • Log time into time logging software daily.
  • Contribute to best practices and pipeline within the studio.
  • Review own assets and shots, and those of the Texture team (internal and overseas), during dailies with the Texture Lead and the production team.
  • Collaborate in animatic reviews.
Key Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of the CG pipeline and understanding of what is required from the Texture Department.
  • Either general training in CG animation or self‑taught; 2D color experience is desirable.
  • Experience creating textures using Photoshop or any 3D painting software;
    Maya skills are desirable.
Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Employees receive competitive perks including comprehensive benefits, paid vacation, and health & wellness days.
