Position: Full-Time Producer/Editor
Join Global News MMC/OTT as a full-time Producer/Editor located in Toronto, ON. This role emphasizes writing, editing, and live event production for diverse Canadian markets.

As an essential part of the team, you will report to the Executive Producer and be actively involved in editorial discussions. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in television broadcasting, complemented by a post-secondary education in journalism or broadcasting. Responsibilities include producing segments, taking events live, and collaborating with graphics teams to enhance stories visually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and write news broadcasts for various markets

• Take live events via control room as needed

• Write, edit, and produce packaged/live segments

• Collaborate in editorial discussions and meetings

• Work with graphics teams to enhance broadcasts

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in television broadcasting

• Post-secondary education in journalism or related field

• Strong storytelling and TV production skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Familiarity with social media tools and applications
