This permanent full-time role demands an innovative journalist with substantial experience in live content production. You will manage editorial decisions, oversee budget planning, and help your team navigate the fast-paced news environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead editorial decisions on news story priorities
• Direct coverage of breaking news and events
• Guide writing, editing, and content distribution
• Ensure compliance with CBC journalistic standards
• Prepare and manage resources for daily reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years related leadership experience
• Strong understanding of live programming and crisis management
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
• Ability to build positive team relationships
• Preferred degree in journalism, video production, or similar
